السبت، الموافق 9 مايو 2026، اليوم العالمي للطيور المهاجرة، اليوم الذي يسلّط الضوء على رحلات الطيور المذهلة عبر القارات، وأهمية حمايتها والحفاظ على مسارات هجرتها الطبيعية.
وتُعدّ فلسطين، وخاصة الأغوار الفلسطينية، من أهم محطات عبور الطيور المهاجرة في المنطقة، حيث تعبر آلاف الطيور سنويًا هذا المسار الغني بالتنوع الحيوي في رحلتها بين آسيا وأفريقيا وأوروبا.

فكل صورة، وكل مشاهدة، وكل توثيق لطائر مهاجر، يساهم في دعم جهود حماية الحياة البرية وفهم مسارات الهجرة بشكل أفضل.
Saturday, May 9, 2026, marks the World Migratory Bird Day- a day that highlights the incredible journeys birds make across continents and the importance of protecting them and preserving their natural migratory routes.
Historic Palestine, especially the Palestinian Jordan Valley, is considered one of the region’s most important stopover sites for migratory birds, with thousands of birds crossing this biodiversity-rich corridor every year on their journey between Asia, Africa, and Europe.
This year’s theme:
“Every Bird Counts- Your Observations Matter”
Every photograph, every observation, and every documentation of a migratory bird contributes to supporting wildlife conservation efforts and improving our understanding of migration pathways .
