Workshop on the Diverse Flora of the West Bank Hosted by Women of the Sun and Sawsanat Faqouaa

As part of our environmental program, Women of the Sun and Sawsanat Faqouaa hosted a rich and engaging workshop on Saturday, April 12, focused on the diverse flora of the West Bank.

Participants—both in person and via Zoom from cities across the West Bank—explored local herbal and medicinal plants such as fennel, watercress, sage, thyme, and teucrium polium. They gained hands-on knowledge about plant identification and traditional healing practices rooted in nature.

ضمن البرنامج البيئي، نظّمت نساء الشمس وسَوسنة فقوعة ورشة عمل مميزة ويومًا غنيًا بالتعلم يوم السبت، 12 نيسان، حول تنوع النباتات البرية في الضفة الغربية.

شارك في الورشة حضورياً وعبر الزوم من مختلف مدن الضفة، وتعرف المشاركون على النباتات الطبية والعطرية المحلية مثل الشومر، الجرجير، الميرمية الطبية، الزعتر، الجعدة وغيرها، وتعلموا كيفية التعرف عليها في الطبيعة واستخداماتها التقليدية في الطب الشعبي.
