As part of the Greek Orthodox Church Summer Camp’s program, Sawsana Faqqua hosted a lively nature workshop—inviting Mr. Saed Shomali from the Palestine Society for Environment and Sustainable Development.
Kids met real animals like a rabbit, tortoise, snake, frogs, and a duck—learning about wildlife like owls, gazelles, hyenas, and birds too
They explored the magical world of bees, their life cycle, and their role in pollination and protecting our environment.
Then came the fun part—creating eco-art by gluing lentils, rice, and corn onto bee and flower sketches.

تعرّف الأطفال على حيوانات حقيقية مثل الأرنب، والسلحفاة، والثعبان، والضفادع، والبطة، وتعلّموا عن الحياة البرية مثل البوم، والغزلان، والضباع، والطيور!
استكشفوا عالم النحل الساحر، وتعرّفوا على دورة حياته ودوره في التلقيح وحماية البيئة.
ثم جاءت اللحظة الممتعة – حيث صنع الأطفال فنًا مستدامًا باستخدام العدس، والأرز، والذرة لتزيين رسومات النحل والزهور.
