In its commitment to raising awareness of Palestinian heritage, the Women of the Sun Association , in partnership with the Susanna Fuqoa Association, organized a <\/a>field\u2010exploration workshop along the Battir and Husan trail as part of the Palestinian Heritage Week activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop was attended by a group of local experts in ecotourism and included visits to the \u201cAin al\u2011Hawiyya,\u201d \u201cAin Imdan,\u201d and \u201cAin Jami\u2018\u201d springs. Special attention was given to the ancient agricultural systems in this area, which represent some of the most outstanding models of environmental sustainability in Palestine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants also discussed methods for preserving cultural heritage and strengthening the role of Palestinian women in sustainable tourism\u2014one of the fundamental pillars for the development of local communities and the enhancement of their economic resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We believe that events like these help build an informed society capable of facing future challenges while preserving a rich cultural identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
