In conjunction with the environmental week
Students learned about the life cycle, habitats, and importance of local owls—focusing on the Eurasian eagle-owl and the little owl. They also discovered why protecting these nocturnal birds matters for our environment.
A highlight of the day was a hands-on, eco-friendly craft activity where kids created owl figures using pinecones, leaves, and natural materials—blending creativity with environmental learning.

16 نيسان 2025 – نظّمت جمعية سوسنة فقوعة ورشة تعليمية ممتعة لطلاب الصف الثالث في مدرسة الفرير – بيت لحم، حول عالم البوم في فلسطين
بالتزامن مع الأسبوع البيئي
تعرّف الطلاب على دورة حياة البوم، أماكن عيشه، وأنواعه المحلية مثل البومة النسارية والبومة الصغيرة، بالإضافة إلى دوره المهم في النظام البيئي.
أبرز محطات الورشة كانت نشاطًا إبداعيًا صديقًا للبيئة، حيث صنع الأطفال مجسمات بومة باستخدام مواد طبيعية مثل أكواز الصنوبر وأوراق الأشجار، فجمعوا بين الفن والطبيعة والخيال.
