Sawsana Faqqua Association hosted a workshop on Saturday, 15th March 2025, in collaboration with Women of the Sun in Artas Village, where the women learned to create a natural retinol cream using natural ingredients.
Additionally, they gained knowledge about the biodiversity of plants in Palestine, especially the benefits of native plants like nettle, Silybium marinum, and carrots, discovering how these plants can contribute to both personal health and environmental sustainability.
Meanwhile, the kids had a fun time coloring the beautiful Iris haynei (Faqqua Iris), Palestine’s endemic national flower, which holds special significance, representing the unique and rich biodiversity of our beloved land. Together, we continue to raise awareness and empower our communities to embrace and protect Palestine’s rich flora.
استضافت جمعية سوسنة فقوعة ورشة عمل يوم السبت، 15 مارس 2025، بالتعاون مع نساء الشمس في قرية أرطاس، حيث تعلمت النساء كيفية صنع كريم الريتينول الطبيعي باستخدام مكونات طبيعية. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، اكتسبن معرفة حول التنوع البيولوجي للنباتات في فلسطين، وخاصة فوائد النباتات المحلية مثل القراص، الخرفيش البحري (Silybium marinum)، والجزر، حيث اكتشفن كيف يمكن لهذه النباتات أن تسهم في الصحة الشخصية والاستدامة البيئية.
في الوقت نفسه، استمتع الأطفال بتلوين زهرة السوسن الفلسطيني (سوسن فقوعة – Iris haynei)، الزهرة الوطنية المتوطنة في فلسطين، والتي تحمل دلالة خاصة، حيث تمثل التنوع البيولوجي الفريد والغني لأرضنا الحبيبة. معًا، نواصل رفع الوعي وتمكين مجتمعاتنا لاحتضان وحماية النباتات الغنية في فلسطين.
